When you lease, you're given some flexibility, as you make payments for a set amount of time, then have the option to move into a new vehicle, purchase your current leased vehicle, or turn it in. It has lots of appeal and here at Cutrubus Audi, we'd like to explain the different lease options for you, so you have a full understanding of what you can expect.
Ownership: Leasing a vehicle does not mean you own it. You are paying to use it during your lease term. You do, however have the option to buy your leased vehicle at the end of your lease terms.
Payment: With a lease, you pay for the vehicle's depreciation, plus taxes and fees. So, instead of paying the purchase price, you can find a luxury premium vehicle like a new Audi for less than you might when you finance to buy over a similar term.
Mileage: With a lease, you have mileage restrictions, but you have flexibility to choose your base mileage option annually. You are able to purchase more miles later on, and find the best choice for you.
Wear and use: When you lease an Audi, you have to follow wear and use guidelines. A normal amount of wear is covered under your lease, but any dents, gouges, will happen. It's a matter of making sure you have our vehicle protection plans to cover it, and making sure that there is not any excessive wear on your Audi.
Lease-end process: When your lease is up, you can bring it back to us, enter a new lease of a new Audi, or purchase it for an agreed-upon price, which takes into account the vehicle's current residual value. When you do bring in your leased vehicle to turn it in or enter a new one, there are a few things you're responsible for, which include (if applicable to you):
- Excess wear and use
- Any remaining payments
- Charges specified in your lease agreement that have not been paid
- Excess mileage charges
- Any state fees
- Disposition fee if you do not purchase a new or certified pre-owned Audi through Audi Financial Services within 90 days
